The Volcain Scientific and Diplomatic Corps

This advanced race keeps a low profile, never engages in a fight unless directly attacked or drawn into a battle by their legal obligation by treaties allies request. Following a strict non-involvement and non-interference as passive observers, content to bear witness and record for any future disputes. They stay neutral to a point, and will ignore slights until they establish the inevitable outcome will be to end a conflict before it ends in their destruction. The Volcain's main mission is one of scientific exploration and discovery, and enterprise they boldly go forth where no one has gone before (which of course never happens, there's always some new race already there!) The Volcain's race isn't really name, however when Terran's first encountered them their crude translator found the ancient Greek Mythology was the closest it could find for their names, and so it has been perpetuated only to the amusement of both races (once the source was explained to them.) These pointy eared, green blooded, hobgoblins prefer to be compared to the Greek Pantheon than any other demonic labels (which they found when digging through Terra's historical records.)
