The Ulysses fighters strike a great balance of firepower, thrust, and agility. They can enter a firefight with a minimal target shadow and slip through enemy area defenses as well as enemy fighters. They are nimble, carry a few missiles, and an almost endless supply of anti-fighter lasers. They can either engage the enemy fighters or just escort the heavy fighters to safely deliver their payloads.
