The Lancer Frigate is an effective attacker and transport, being a fast mover and heavily armed, with plenty of cargo space.  The Koralien system planets are best known for their space-shipyards and smugglers, which works out well for the Renegade Alliance whom they have sided with against the oppressive Scythe Empire that wanted to acquire their shipyards and stop their smuggling.
