This retro Saucer is the workhorse of the alien armada, full of mysterious aliens and their weird technology. They have been known to devastate fleets ten-times their size and number using sharp vector movements and plasma-like bolts. Their legend is so terrible that whole ships have mutinied rather than face them, and usually go back to port without report (with their crew deserting.) Their low profile makes them hard to detect until it is too late, and their shields are practically immune to any weapons fire.
